Mother's Day Ennui

Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there!

I'm having a rather lonely day. After the flurry of activity yesterday, both t and s have moved out, and I have my own room. It's nice, but it's awful quiet. I keep playing music constantly to deal with all the silence filling up the place. It's a bit empty around here without some sort of sound filler.

They inspired me to finish the rest of my packing as well, so everything is packed into sacks and boxes, or ready to be stuffed away for next weekend. All the decorations are off the walls, and all that's left is to take my bed canopy down. Even my desk is packed up (except, of course for my computer).


TR spen yesterday whining about everyone moving out. Granted, it's sorta sad when nobody's here, but they have to move out sometime! I'm just sorta amazed they did it this weekend, since it's Mother's Day.... I figured everyone would be home, hangin' out with Ma, etc. etc. Except for me, of course. I'm just stuck here doing reading and about to write a paper (but first, must go find a movie to watch for analyzing). What a thrilling Sunday.

Well, I hope Mom's at least having a good time!
