The person otherwise known as "Teapot"...

Have made it through the day without dying of extreme boredom. Section was interesting today, even if class was not. Had a very fun set of gestures/charades with guy across the room (tom)---he mimed shooting himself in the head, and his brains flying out the other side, so I responded with the idea of "pouring" something in one ear and out the other....by acting out the "I'm a little teapot"--hand on hip, other hand spout, then tipping to show "pouring"....obviously incomprehensible to him. Haha, I told you my brain was strangely wired. Veeeery strangely, obviously. He laughed a lot when I explained after class.

Also we discussed polyandry and polgyny today. Fun stuff. Nice to know that there's an evolutionary advantage for males to have access to many females in passing on their genes....but not as much of one for females (we're limited in the number of kids we can have in 9 months, no matter how many males we mate with). Whohooo. So, if the world ever becomes dangerously depopulated with humans, it's something to keep in mind. Otherwise, a really stupid idea, since it can quickly overwhelm environmental carrying capacity. So way to go, you silly mormons. Whoo, polygyny! (not)

If that sounds like gobbledegook to you, you're a idiot.

Anyway, was very interesting, since it's not something people normally discuss. Unfortunately, the one drawback of the day was that the prof. added a lot to the lecture slides (which I didn't print out) and so now I HAVE to read the book chapter (and maybe make bleedin' flashcards) on primates. Whoohoohoo. So not thrilled.

Well, even if that doesn't work out, I know that I have my "teapotness" to fall back on. Or something. Well, okay, maybe not.

*slinks off muttering about people who are bad at charades*

Moral Moving support...sometimes wearing.

So, here I am on my newly working (aka: dust blown out of it) compy down at scenario (the 'rent's new house). Nice and cool in this back room, the only drawback is that I have to kneel to use the compy. Oh, and the screen is TINY. Hrumpf.

School is pretty cool. Very low maintenance. I brought my books to study today. Should be a good thing. I'm actually going to return my anthro book---a friend of mine has it and will lend it to me. Or I'll pay her for it. Much cheaper than the 65 bucks I spent on the stupid thing.

Summer seems to be pretty nice. Am still searching for a job, mooching around, filling out job applications. If anyone hears of something, let me know? I need moola. Current job is a bust. bleah.

Hmmm, I wish that I had fiberoptic cable stuff at my apartment. The load times are AMAZING down here. I just type in a web address, and POOF. I'm already there.

The only bad part about moral support for this whole move thing (and I'm not sure if it's for mom or for dad) is having to move boxes around. Eh, well could be worse!

Ucla garden seems to be doing well. I need to figure out a recruitment campaign and the watering system. Must contact henry and rich. Ah, things to do, things to do.

Life is busy, y'know?

I feel sort of worn though. And I haven't really done much. Maybe it's a lack of caffeine? Hmmmmmmm.
